PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate clogging of ink nozzles which are not used and to suppress the ink consumed in suction for eliminating the clogging. SOLUTION: This invention provides an ink-jet printer 1 which prints a print object by using, at least one time for sure, an ink nozzle 21D included in a printing maximum width thereof when each character of the print object is printed. As a result, clogging of the ink nozzle 21D of the ink-jet printer 1 does not readily occur, and consumption of the ink is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
