<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for suppressing an increase in the pressure loss while improving non-uniform speed distribution of fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger T has a flow path 4 consisting of flat containers 1, 2 each having a fluid flow-in port 15 at one end and a fluid flow-out port 16 at the other end, and offset type fins 5 provided in the flat containers 1, 2. It comprises fin perpendicular regions H where the plate fins 5 are perpendicular to the direction of the fluid flowing from the flow-in ports 15 to the flow-out ports 16, and fin parallel regions V where the plate fins 5 are parallel to the direction of the fluid flowing from the flow-in ports 15 to the flow-out ports 16.
