PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micropump capable of reducing the volume of a pump chamber, and of controlling minute discharge and a minute discharge volume; and a sustained release device equipped with it. SOLUTION: This micropump 100 is provided with: the pump chamber 1; an inlet 2 for inhaling a liquid from the outside into the pump chamber 1; an inlet-side check valve 30 for regulating the flow of the liquid in the inlet 2; a discharge opening 4 for discharging the liquid to the outside of the pump chamber 1 from the inside of the pump chamber 1; a discharge-side check valve 50 for regulating the flow of the liquid in the discharge opening 4; and a vibration plate 6 for changing the volume of the pump chamber 1.
