PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiphlogistic and analgesic oral pharmaceutical composition in which antiphlogistic actions (anti-inflammatory actions) of a phenylpropionic acid-based antiphlogistic and analgesic agent are enhanced and to provide a method for simultaneously reducing the bitterness while enhancing the antiphlogistic actions thereof for the phenylpropionic acid-based antiphlogistic and analgesic agent having the bitterness. SOLUTION: (a) The phenylpropionic acid-based antiphlogistic and analgesic agent and (b) glucosamine, a derivative thereof or a salt thereof are used in combination, or, (a) the phenylpropionic acid-based antiphlogistic and analgesic agent, (b) the glucosamine, a derivative thereof or a salt thereof and (c) chondroitin, chondroitin sulfate or a salt thereof are used in combination.
