PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper receiving box, added to a printer by post-fitting or external fitting, easily installed without requiring storing space, and inexpensive. SOLUTION: This paper receiving box for a printer is collapsed and stored in a storing part 5 right under an issue port 3 of the printer during non-use, and drawn out, deployed and built in use. The paper receiving box includes: a base plate part 6; a front plate part 8 rotatably connected to the base plate part 6; a side plate part 9; a stopper part 8A making substantially right-angled by locking the base plate part 6, the front plate part 8 and the side plate part 9 with each other; and connecting projections 9D-9F.
