The invention relates to a method for the computer-assisted analysis of a software source code (SQ). According to the method, the software source code (SQ) is analyzed in consideration of parameters comprising encoding rules and/or encoding metrics, wherein as the analysis result errors (ER) detected in the software source code (SQ) are calculated. The errors (ER) detected are classified by means of associating them with at least one error category (EC) from a plurality of error categories (EC). To this end, a specification that can be output via a user interface is associated with each error category (EC), which describes the errors (ER) of the respective error category (EC). The error categories (EC) with which the detected errors (ER) are associated are then output via a user interface. According to the invention, different types of errors contained in the software source code can be systematically and efficiently detected and handled. The method significantly reduces the efforts of controlling the software code quality, due to the increased degree of automation and the ability to focus on the critical technical aspects. Thus, it builds a bridge from the error detection methods of conventional code analysis to targeted measures of improvements, which are able to efficiently increase code quality. |
