The invention relates to a treatment composition for the textile products to be dried in a dryer which contains a water-soluble cationic polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 500,000 to 10,000,000 and a method of treatment of textile products which comprises subjecting a textile product treated with the composition to heat treatment in a heating-type dryer. More specifically, the invention relates to a treatment composition for the textile products to be dried in a dryer which contains a water-soluble cationic polymer (A) having a weight-average molecular weight of 500,000 to 10,000,000, a water-insoluble cationic polymer (B) and a silicone compound (C) at a ratio of the component (A) to the sum of the components (A) and (B) of 3 to 100% by mass and a ratio of the sum of the components (A) and (B) to the sum of the components (A), (B) and (C) of 5 to 85% by mass.
