The refilling unit has a tappet (33) with a tappet rod (32) movable in a syringe retainer (21). An actuating mechanism (34) is provided with a pivotably supported actuating lever (53), whose lever arm (L1) is shorter than a lever arm (L2). The lever arm (L1) is coupled with the tappet rod in such a manner that the tappet rod is pushed forward in a distal direction during pivoting of the actuating lever in a direction of a handle, while the tappet rod remains in its reached position, during pivoting of the actuating lever in another direction that is opposite to the handle direction. An independent claim is also included for a refilling set for an implantable infusion pump.
