The profile has a horizontal bar (8.6) running between a connection area (8.1) and a vertical inclined bar (8.5) in a horizontal longitudinal direction, and forming a contact surface that contacts with a loading surface (12) of a commercial vehicle. A rear inclined bar (8.8) angularly runs from a lower area (8.7), and has a rear contact surface for retaining a lower side of a loading plate (9). The profile is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy as an extruded section, and is swivelable about the connecting area. An independent claim is also included for an assembly kit for a loading plate for connection to a commercial vehicle.
