An LCD, an LC module and a front panel of the LCD are provided to prevent backward displacement of an LC panel effectively, restrict a gap formed between a display surface of the LC panel and an edge of an aperture of a front panel surely, and achieve improvement of outer appearance. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprises a main body having a front panel(1401), an LC panel(22) having a display surface, and a chassis(26). The chassis holds the circumference of the LC panel in back and forth directions, contacts the display surface with an aperture(1402), and arranges the LC panel within the main body. In the rear of the front panel, a hook(50) is backwardly protruded from a portion around the aperture. The hook is linked with the chassis for holding the circumference of the LC panel so as to prevent backward displacement of the chassis portion.
