Dental fillers, pastes, and compositions prepared therefrom

The present invention provides a dental paste, methods of making and using the dental paste, and compositions prepared therefrom. The dental paste includes a hardenable resin and an acid-reactive filler disposed in the resin. The acid-reactive filler includes a silane-treated surface, wherein the silane includes a poly(alkylene oxide) group-containing silane.
