<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a display device and a display panel that does not increase the load on a control unit of equipment when detailed time is displayed on a display unit. <P>SOLUTION: A driver IC 12 houses: a time control circuit which inputs time information indicating time, updates the time information based upon a clock signal from a crystal oscillator 31, and outputs the time information; a voltage selecting circuit for a timepiece which generates a driving signal based upon the time information input from the time control circuit; and a switching circuit to drive a time display window 13 with the driving signal generated by the voltage selecting circuit for the timepiece instead of a driving signal based upon a video signal when the time information is displayed in a time display window 13 formed on the display unit 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
