<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency without degrading handling in reading an RFID tag. <P>SOLUTION: Three of the four lateral sides of front, back, right, and left, other than the front face are composed of a shield 6 comprising a main body of an RFID reader 5, a first side plate, and a second side plate. The front face and the face above a mounting stand are opened.
