<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for distributing advertisement data equipped with both the easiness of referenceability and mechanism for arousing a reference desire. <P>SOLUTION: A service provider acquires customer information from a user via a plurality of routes, and segments and manages the merchandise purchase desire of the user from the customer information, and selects the advertisement data of the merchandise for every segmented user, and stores the selected advertisement data in a memory card 10 for distribution. When the user sets a memory card 10 in a portable telephone 5, the viewer of the advertisement data is automatically started, and the advertisements of the merchandise are displayed.
