<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video creating apparatus capable of projecting easy-to-see video by making the projected video uniform in luminance over the entire surface. <P>SOLUTION: The video creating apparatus (projecting device 10) of a field sequential type includes: a light valve element 20 which creates video by dividing one field of video by primary colors different from each other; a light emission control means 30 for controlling the quantity of light emission of a light source 12; and a video control signal output means 32 for outputting a control signal to the light valve element 20. The light emission control means 30 is configured to output a light emission signal having a primary color light emission period Tc in which light sources 12 of the primary colors are made to illuminate in order on a time-division basis and a high-luminance light emission period Th in which light of another primary color is emitted, and the video control signal output means 32 is configured to output a control signal having a signal for generating video in the primary color light emission period Tc and a light quantity correction signal corresponding to a position of a pixel in the high-luminance light emission period Th. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
