PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain prevention or solution of a crime by networking room master units and utilizing intercom video recording devices in neighboring households to record video images of an invader in many directions. SOLUTION: In an intercom system wherein an entrance slave unit 1a and a room master unit 2a which responds to a visitor in response to a call of the entrance slave unit, are connected and which performs crime prevention setting/canceling using the room master unit, the entrance slave unit comprises an entrance camera 11 and the room master unit comprises a burglar sensor 21 for detecting an invader, a transmission/reception circuit 22 for transmitting/receiving a warning situation where a neighboring house is invaded, a storage section 26 for recording video images form the entrance camera, and a CPU 23.
