PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting electromagnet device requiring no operation of putting a magnetic pole member in and out of a through hole provided in a magnetic pole part. SOLUTION: The lifting electromagnet device 10 comprises a yoke 14 having a pair of magnetic pole parts 20. The yoke is provided with at least one through hole 32 vertically penetrating each magnetic pole part 20. The lifting electromagnet device 10 further comprises exciting coils 16, 18 surrounding the respective magnetic pole parts 20, and a plurality of magnetic pole members 34, 36 fitted to each other and suspended from the yoke to extend in each through hole 32 and to project downward in different length from the through hole.
