In order to achieve the object, image information of an image, which composes a successive image train, is read out and acquired from a memory unit, a predetermined image change amount between at least two images is calculated by means of the acquired image information, information with respect to the image change amount is given to its corresponding image, and a predetermined number of images are then extracted from the image train in accordance with the given information.
