The device has a hot-air dryer (6) with blowing nozzles (12) on a side of a print substrate transportation path (5). A heat exchanger (7) lies on the other side of the transportation path. Blowing nozzles (16) are integrated into the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has air line pipes (14), which are connected with one another by a transverse fin (15) and at which the blowing nozzles (16) are arranged. The hot-air dryer has suction openings facing the print substrate transportation path.
