The arrangement (1) has a self-closing differential (2) with a differential cage (7) that is connected with a drive shaft (3). Gear-toothed driven wheels (9, 10) of the differential are connected with two output shafts (4, 5). Spur toothed level gears (8) are pivoted around a geometrical axis in the cage. The differential is designed as a crown gear differential. Friction brakes (14, 15) are formed between one of the wheels and the cage, and are actuated by a bearing of the wheels. The cage is pivoted indirectly through the drive shaft and the output shafts in a gearbox housing (24).
