A dynamic disposition of a server is carried out in consideration of its performance requirements as well as its reliability. Operation states of a group of spare servers (3) are observed by a server management means (1a) and stored at a server management information memory means (1b) as server management information. When demand estimate data are obtained with respect to each system (2a), (2b) subjected to management, a disposing period grasping means (1c) grasps a dynamic disposing period to be needed for a disposition of the spare server at each system (2a), (2b) in accordance the demand estimate data. A disposing server candidate selecting means (1d) eliminates servers with the high possibility of failure during the dynamic disposing period and selects disposing server candidates. A disposing server determining means (1e) selects disposing server candidates to comply with the requirement needed for the dynamic disposing period and determines a disposing server.
