PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly precise reconstruction of content corresponding to information about user's taste.

SOLUTION: A content management server manages content to be provided to a content providing device used by a user to view the content. The server has a material meta-data generating means for generating metadata of material data as material metadata, the material data included in the content generated based on details of direction to be previously set; and a searching means for searching the material metadata on the basis of the user's taste information included in an inquiry from the content providing device when the content providing device inquires about alternative material data used for changing the material data included in the content. Thus, the problem is solved.
