PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus which enables an improved arrangement of the components inside the housing of the medical apparatus.

SOLUTION: The medical apparatus has the housing and a radio-frequency detection device, wherein the radio-frequency detection device is functionally connected to an antenna for detecting a radio-frequency marking. The radio-frequency detection device has a transmitter and an at least partially electrically conductive shielding, which surrounds at least the transmitter in such a way that a field generated by the transmitter is effectively shielded to the exterior and the antenna is provided inside the housing and outside the shielding.
