<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing apparatus which is especially suitable for fixing of a nut to a small diameter pipe material and is easily made to automate. <P>SOLUTION: The pressing apparatus is provided with: an upper base 3 fixed to guide posts standing up at both sides of front end part of a lower base 2; a movable support 5 supported so as to be freely rotatable around a horizontal axis 9 wherein the front end part is extended to the front end side of the lower base 2 and supporting by covering the pipe material 50 under circularly movable state in the vertical direction; a nut receiving recessed part 16 arranged at the upper end of a lower die part 15 vertically moved by projecting to the upper part from a cylinder case 11; a vertically movable stopper 30 for abutting against and supporting the intermediate part of a lifter 20 vertically movable and for abutting against and supporting the front end portion of the movable support 5 and the movable support 5, and positioned by abutting the opening end face 51 of the pipe material 50; a crimping die 42 fitted to an upper die support 6 and arranged so as to be freely vertically movable on the same axis as the lower die 15, and used as the upper die; a hydraulic cylinder 45 for pressing the upper die, pressing the crimping die 42 downward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
