PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire increased in anti-partial wear performance while maintaining the traction performance. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, peripheral main grooves 21 extending in the circumferential direction thereof, block rows 31 demarcated by these circumferential main grooves 21, and shoulder ribs 32 each formed in each of the shoulder areas of a tread part are formed in and on a tread surface. In the pneumatic tire, the shoulder rib 32 has a thin rib 42 extending along the lateral outer end of the tire, sipes 43 formed at the lateral outer end of the tire, outer lug grooves 44 formed without traversing the shoulder rib 32 from the lateral outer end of the tire toward the lateral inner side of the tire, and tread surfaces continued with each other in the circumferential direction of the tire in at least a part of the area.
