PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the problem of the motion of a video in normal reproduction and the problem of the swinging or roughness of the video in slow reproduction. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 switches the display system of an MPEG data to a BOB system in normal reproduction, and switches the display system of the MPEG data to a Weave/combing removal system in slow reproduction. Concretely, the CPU 10 directs the use of the BOB system to a display control section 74 as the display form of MPEG data in normal reproduction. The display control section 74 displays the MPEG data by the BOB system. Then, the CPU 10 directs the use of the Weave/combing removal system to the display control section 74 as the display form of MPEG data in slow reproduction while carrying out combing removal processing in an S/W manner to the MPEG data.
