PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone device which interrupts voice from a hands-free interphone master unit to an interphone slave unit, when a resident is not standing in front of the hands-free interphone master unit. SOLUTION: In the interphone device, comprising the interphone slave unit installed to a gate or an entrance and the hands-free interphone master unit installed inside a living room, the hands-free interphone master unit is provided with a master unit human detection sensor for detecting a person standing in front of the hands-free interphone master unit; and a master unit acoustic part, capable of passing/interrupting the voice from the hands-free interphone master unit to the interphone slave unit by master unit human detection OFF signals from the master unit human detection sensor.
