PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure and facilitate running resistant setting which enhances reproduction of real vehicle load. SOLUTION: An operation measuring board of a chassis dynamometer includes: setting target running resistance of speed setting points classified by each running speed and a running resistant value interpolating between set points as braking force of coasting operation of an initial time of the chassis dynamometer (S1); calculating measured running resistance at each speed from a coasting time when being accelerated to perform the coasting operation (S2); calculating errors between the target running resistance and measurement running resistance at each coasting speed (S3); correcting the target running resistance of an entire speed region to repeat error calculation and correction up to the number of times of the maximum correction when the errors are out of an allowable error range (S4 to S7); and displaying various data and setting operation in running resistance correction and verification on a screen and interpolating by interpolation or extrapolation between the set points of running resistance setting values.
