PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, suppressing the number of parts to reduce the size, and also efficiently exhibiting any effect of cooling and straightening/eliminating curl for paper. SOLUTION: A curl of paper P discharged from a fixing device 3 is eliminated by a curl eliminating device 4 disposed on the delivery side of the fixing device 3. In this case, with a second rigid roller 42 pressed to a first flexible roller 41 (with the second roller biting into the first roller), paper P is passed between the first roller 41 and the second roller 42, whereby the paper P is straightened to eliminate the curl. On the other hand, the second roller 42 pressed to the first roller 41 has a cooling structure (a hollow roller 421 and a heat pipe 422), whereby while the paper P passes between the first roller 41 and the second roller 42, heat of the paper is absorbed by the second roller 42 and cooled.
