PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable composition which can be easily cured by irradiation with light in the ultraviolet to visible region. SOLUTION: The photocurable composition is one containing a naphthalene derivative represented by formula (1) and a photo-radical polymerization initiator, wherein the photo-radical polymerization initiator is one having an absorption at a wavelength of 380 nm or longer. In formula (1), m is an integer of 1 or 2; R<SB>1</SB>is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or a halogen atom; and the substituents on the naphthalene ring are at two or three of positions 1 to 8 on the ring.
