The present invention pertains to the field of devices for mounting and connecting an electronic housing into a holder comprising guiding and/or rotation means for positioning said housing. The electronic housing is intended for insertion in the dashboard of an aircraft, wherein said housing comprises: essentially flat and parallel rear and front faces; means for attaching the housing to the dashboard, the fixations being provided on the front face of said housing; at least one connector, also called connector-housing, that can be plugged and is attached on the rear face of said housing. The housing is characterised in that the plugging direction of the connector-housing located on the rear face lays essentially in the plane of the rear face. The holder comprises guiding and rotation means for guiding, plugging and inserting said housing into the dashboard.
