<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique fixing a photocatalyst to a substrate so as to prevent discoloration and deterioration by oxidization of the photocatalyst, and sufficiently develop the function such as deodorization, an antibacterial property and an anti-fouling property of the photocatalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The performance of the photocatalyst is sufficiently developed by coating various kinds of substrates with a mixed binder aqueous solution comprising the photocatalyst, a binder resin and a solvent having a boiling point higher than that of water, then by vaporizing water by heating and drying, and further by eliminating the solvent having a boiling point higher than that of water from the surface of the photocatalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
