<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio reproducing device capable of obtaining the feeling of low-pitched sound even by the speaker of a small diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The audio reproducing device comprises: a high-pass filter 2 for taking out signal components S2 equal to or higher than the resonance frequency f0 of a speaker 5 from audio signals S1; a band-pass filter 21 for taking out low frequency components S21 whose frequency is included in bands f0/2 to f1/2 from the audio signals S1; a band-pass filter 41 for taking out low frequency components S41 whose frequency is included in bands f0/4 to f1/4 from the audio signals S1; a pitch shift circuit 22 for multiplying the output of the band-pass filter 21 by 2; a pitch shift circuit 42 for multiplying the output of the band-pass filter 41 by 4; and an addition circuit 3 for adding the output of the high-pass filter 2 and the output of the pitch shift circuits 22 and 42 by a prescribed ratio.
