<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-quality image by detecting the state of recording paper, using a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 is equipped with a paper thickness detecting part 112 for obtaining paper thickness that is thickness per recording paper; a moisture content detecting part 113 for obtaining moisture content, showing the rate of moisture amount contained in the recording paper; and a condition setting part 114 for setting image forming conditions (transfer voltage applied between a transfer roller 522 and the recording paper, and the fixing temperature that is temperature of a fixing roller 531, in this case) that is the condition of forming an image on the recording paper, based on the paper thickness and the moisture content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
