PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a procedure for performing image measurement of a distribution of a fluctuating pressure on a field wherein its fluctuating component has a component spread over a wide region, which is a periodical unsteady pressure fluctuating field, and a procedure of measuring a distribution of a fluctuating pressure component even in the case of a minute pressure field having little pressure fluctuation. SOLUTION: In this image measuring method of an unsteady pressure field by a pressure-sensitive paint, which is used for image measurement using the pressure-sensitive paint or a pressure-sensitive coating, the distribution of the pressure fluctuating component in a frequency dimension in light emission data is made into a picture and displayed based on the acquired light emission data from the pressure-sensitive paint or the pressure-sensitive coating.
