摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new reinforcing method in view of problems that the lower face reinforcement of a center between main girders is generally carried out by various methods on a road bridge floor slab, but as to an overhang floor slab, the action of an upward load is not considered in conventional design conditions, that is, a situation of a tensile force applied to the lower face of the overhang floor slab is not considered, and consequently no countermeasure against this situation is established, but lately many examples of installing sound insulating walls at ends of the overhang floor slabs on both sides of a road bridge are seen as a part of environmental countermeasures, wherein the installation of sound insulating walls with heights of 4-5 m is required because a sufficient sound insulating effect cannot be obtained in conventional sound insulating walls with heights of about 1-2 m depending on the situation around the road bridge, and in the case of installing the high sound insulating walls of such a height, the a conventionally unexpected "tensile force generated on the lower face of the overhang floor slab" by the action of a wind load has been ascertained. SOLUTION: Reinforcing members are installed in a right-angled direction to a bridge axis in the lower face of the overhang floor slab to reinforce the insufficiency of the strength of the lower face of the overhang floor slab.
