PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera for continuing a prescribed time or the prescribed number of photographing by only a battery power source of a lens unit side by effectively using the battery power source arranged in both of a lens unit and a camera body and positively making a state in which a battery capacity of the lens unit side remains. SOLUTION: The camera includes: the camera body 10 with a first power source device 17; the lens unit 20 detachably mounted to the camera body 10 and with a second power source device 22 supplying at least part of electric power necessary in the side of the camera body 10; a power source control device 11 controlling so that the second power source device 22 becomes previously lower than a necessary battery remaining amount for enabling photographing due to the prescribed time or the prescribed number of imaging elements 13 to the first power source device 17 concerning the use order of both the power source devices 17 and 22.
