PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish vehicle height adjustment as much as practicable while suppressing intra-cabin noises associated with the vehicle height adjustment. SOLUTION: Air chambers 12a-12d are installed at the front left and front right wheels and at the rear left and rear right wheels and decide the vehicle height with the internal pressure. A microcomputer 20 controls solenoid-operated selector valves 13a-13d and 16, a compressor 14, and an electric motor 15, and thereby controls the internal pressures of the air chambers 12a-12d. When judgement is passed that the intra-cabin noise is less with an engine device 24 being stopped and the vehicle at a standstill, the microcomputer 20 conducts the vehicle height adjustment at the rear left and rear right wheels while vehicle height adjustment of the front left and front right wheels is prohibited.
