PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame body and its joining method capable of eliminating acute corner parts by using extruded sections of the same cross section, preferably extruded sections extruded from the same extrusion hole of the same extrusion die and more preferably extruded sections cut out from an extruded section extruded by an extruder, and highly precisely uniformizing the dimensions such as the height and the width. SOLUTION: This frame body 10 is provided with frame members 11 and 12 cut from the extruded sections of same cross section, preferably the extruded sections extruded from same extrusion hole of a same extrusion die and more preferably the extruded sections cut out from an extruded section extruded by an extruder and forming side parts, and joining members 20 forming corner parts; the frame members 11 and 12 have joining faces 16 where the angleθ1 of their outside acute angle parts is cut into 135/2°and the angleθ2 of their inside obtuse angle parts is obliquely cut to become 225/2°; and each joining member 20 is formed into, for example, a trapezoidal shape having the angleθ1 of the two acute angle parts of a joining faces 23 is 135/2°.
