A method of changing the hydraulic resistance of shock absorber includes forced overflow of the working fluid through the small flow areas from blind area into rod area and vice versa. In this case the capacity of overflow is changed subject to the load on the shock absorber by using dosing mutually moved components, which change mutual capacity during inlet and outlet of the stock of shock absorber. The shock absorber has a design, due to which the change of its hydraulic resistance is performed.
