The vehicle has a foldable vehicle convertible top (25) stored in a convertible top compartment (26), where the top has a lowerably and liftably formed rotating part of a luggage compartment (27). The top is partially closable by a rear shelf (32), where kinematic arrangements are provided for moving the top, rear shelf and the convertible top compartment. The rear shelf and the convertible top compartment are driven by a single motor independent of the top. A convertible top drive of the top is switched off by an actuation of a switch of one of the arrangements.
