<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gasifying a woody biomass, by which the production of clinkers can especially be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: This method for gasifying the woody biomass, comprising charging a raw material comprising the woody biomass into a fixed bed gasification oven 6, is characterized by gasifying in a state that a melting point-enhancing substance exists in the gasification oven 6, and supplying the melting point-enhancing substance together with the raw material into the gasification oven 6 or together with air through an oxidizing agent-charging port 67. An exclusive charging port is preferably disposed at a height position near to the oxidizing agent-charging port 67, and the melting point-enhancing substance can be supplied into the oven 6 through the charging port separately from air. The melting point-enhancing substance includes calcium carbonate, calcium hydroxide, calcium oxide, calcium phosphate and dolomite, and can be used in a powdery or particulate form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
