MASTER CYLINDER, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND CHECK VALVE MECHANISM OF THE MASTER CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master cylinder enabling the easy assembling and adjustment of a check valve.

SOLUTION: A supplement passage for supplementing a working fluid from a reservoir 2 into a pressure chamber 6 is formed in a cylinder body 3 connected to the reservoir 2. A bypass passage 37 bypassing the supplement passage and allowing the reservoir 2 to communicate with the pressure chamber 6 is formed in the cylinder body. A check valve mechanism 34 opened when the pressure in the pressure chamber 6 is lower than the pressure in the reservoir 2 is installed in the bypass mechanism 37. A cartridge 39 is formed of a valve case 38 and a cover member 32. The check valve mechanism 34 is formed by containing a valve element 41 and a biasing spring 42 in the cartridge 39. The cartridge 39 is disposed in a valve chamber 33 inside the bypass passage 37.
