PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease in the cross-sectional area of a slag discharge part due to the sticking of slag with simple constitution. SOLUTION: This slag discharge device comprises a slag discharge part 44 having an inner peripheral surface 45a circular from the top view; a chute 71 turnable around a vertical line L, passing the center of the inner peripheral surface 45a of the slag discharge part 44, serving as a rotation axis; a scraping member 73 fixed to the chute 71, with its tip 73a abutting on or close to the inner peripheral surface 45a of the slag discharge part 44; and a turning means 75 turning the chute 71. The chute 71 is turned by the turning means 75 to scrape the slag sticking to the inner peripheral surface 45a of the slag discharge part 44, with the tip 73a of the scraping member 73.
