PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of operating a rotating lever even with a small force. SOLUTION: A first engagement detection terminal 5 is supported by a housing of a male connector 3 and a second engagement detection terminal 6 is supported by the housing so as to be located near the first engagement detection terminal 5. A rotating lever 13 which makes a housing 12 of a female connector 11 engage with or separate from the housing is supported rotatably by the housing 12. The rotating lever 13 has a joining part formed so as to rotation operate by a finger and a short circuit releasing member which makes the first and the second engagement detection terminals 5, 6 in contact state or non-contact state when engagement of the housing 12 with the housing is completed. The short circuit releasing member is located closer to the rotation center of the rotating lever 13 than the joining part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
