PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head slider inspecting method in which an electric field noise resistance of a head slider can be inspected and a head gimbal assembly manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method has a head slider manufacturing process (step S101) for manufacturing the head slider comprising a sensor part having a tunnel magneto-resistance effect film and a pair of electrode films and a slider main body, a measuring process (step S102) for measuring impedance between respective electrode films and the slider main body in the head slider, a discrimination process (step S103)confirming that these impedance have a prescribed matching degree or more, a head gimbal assembly assembling process (step S104) for assembling the head gimbal assembly using the confirmed head slider, and an HDD assembling process (step S105) for assembling a hard disk device using the head gimbal assembly.
