PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device randomly reproducing data other than duplicate audio data without requiring any large-capacity ROM or RAM for a random reproducing function. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reproducing means for reproducing audio files recorded in a recording medium, a selection means for selecting one of the audio files recorded in the recording medium, and a determination means for determining whether to reproduce the audio file based on the last reproducing time of the audio file selected by the selection means.
