PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic appliance with enhanced usability and simple structure of a pen housing part. SOLUTION: The electronic appliance has a main body 2 which has a case 6, a display unit 3 supported by the main body 2, a pen housing part 17 prepared in the case 6, and a pen 15 detachbly stored in the pen housing part 17. The pen 15 is supported in cantilever by a pen main part 21, extends along with the pen main part 21, and has a clip section 22 prepared with a protrusion 24. The pen housing part 17 has a locking part 37 in which the protrusion 24 turns to the removal direction of the pen 15, while being located between the pen main part 21 and the clip section 22, when a pen 15 is stored. At least a part of the pen 15 stored in the pen housing part 17 is exposed to the outside of the case 8 in a side surface 8a of the case 6 facing toward the same direction as a display screen 13a of a display unit 3.
