PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide camera equipment which enables to insert a title to motion picture data in digital format without recompressing the motion picture data, and to provide a method of editing the title in the camera equipment. SOLUTION: The camera equipment 100 includes a motion picture data generating means for generating motion picture data with precedent data including motion picture data indicating filmed video and precedent images to be reproduced prior to the motion picture data; a title data generating means for generating title data indicating the title to be inserted into the motion picture image with precedent data; and a data replacement means for replacing title insertion data whose size is equal to that of the title data of the precedent data in the motion picture data with precedent data by the title data generated by the title data generating means.
