PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk apparatus with an elevating and lowering top plate provided with a leg body, wherein design change when changing a size or specifications is easy, appearance is excellent and the degree of freedom in terms of design is high while securing the accuracy of elevating and lowering guide of a movable leg to a fixed leg by making a member constituting the outer surface of the fixed leg, a slide mechanism for vertically movably guiding the movable leg and a driving mechanism be respectively independent. SOLUTION: The fixed leg 4 has a leg cover 6 having a flat box structure which constitutes an outer surface and is opened upwards, and a guide unit 7 provided inside the leg cover for vertically slidably guiding the movable leg 5. The guide unit is in a rectangular frame structure in which upper ends of a pair of vertical guide rods 20 disposed on both front and back sides are connected by an upper connecting member 21 and lower parts are connected by a lower connecting member 22.
